NOTICE FOR ANNUAL GENERAL BODY MEETING (AGBM)
Dear Members,
This is to inform you that the Annual General Body Meeting (AGBM) of the All
India Rhinology Society (AIRS) will be held during the 36th Annual Conference –
RHINOCON 2025 at Chennai.
Venue: Le Meridien Hotel, Chennai
Date: 29th November 2025
Time: 5:00 PM
AGENDA
1.
To adopt the minutes of the last GBM held at
Mumbai.
2.
Condolence resolution, if any.
3.
Report of the Hon. Secretary.
4.
Report of the Hon. Treasurer.
5.
Admission of new members.
6.
To consider proposals received during the year:
a) To confirm RHINOCON 2026 at
Guwahati and consider proposals for RHINOCON 2027.
b) Any other proposal received within
a month before the conference.
7.
Approval of amendments, if any, in the
Constitution of the Society.
8.
Election of new office bearers, if required.
9.
Installation of new office bearers.
10. Any
other matter with the permission of the Chair.
ELECTION NOTICE – GOVERNING BODY 2025–2026
Nominations are hereby invited from members of AIRS for the
following posts of the Governing Body for the year 2025–2026. Elections will be
held in accordance with the election guidelines of the AIRS Constitution.
Posts:

President-Elect: 1 Post (Tenure: 1 year)
·
Vice President: 1 Post (Tenure: 1 year)
·
Secretary: 1 Post (Tenure: 3 years)
·
Joint Secretary: 1 Post (Tenure: 1 year)
·
Treasurer: 1 Post (Tenure: 3 years)
·
Governing Body Members: 10 Posts (Tenure: 1
year)
Eligibility Criteria:
·
President-Elect: Minimum 5 years of membership
and one tenure as Governing Body member.
·
Vice President: Minimum 5 years of membership
and one tenure as Governing Body member.
·
Secretary: Minimum 5 years of membership and one
tenure as Governing Body member.
·
Joint Secretary: Minimum 5 years of membership
and one tenure as Governing Body member.
·
Treasurer: Minimum 5 years of membership and one
tenure as Governing Body member.
·
Governing Body Member: Minimum 2 years of
membership.
